CONSIGNMENT WITH 15 MILLION DOLLARS CONFISCATED IN ISTANBUL AIRPORT

A consignment heading to China from Iraq was seized by the Turkish Customs on the 9th of June as it transits via Istanbul with 15 millions dollars not declared at the customs clearance in clear violation of anti-money laundering act. The transporter, agent F. Carlson of Intertrans Logistics Groups is held and is providing information.

The consignment is sent by a Fabian Clement and it is to be shipped to Hu Jiangao in China. Investigations are ongoing to unravel the origin of such large amount of cash.
